This 2 hrs workshop will be an immersive experience combining ancient somatic wisdom of yoga and shamanic practices. Our journey will begin by diving into the fascinating world of hip mobility. Our hips are much more than just joints. They are the physical and energetic bridge between our upper and lower body, and their mobility influences our physical posture, movement and even our emotional and mental well-being.
In shamanic traditions, the hips are seen as a gateway to the spirit world. We will finish our session with a shamanic drum journey taking us into the underworld, facilitating a connection with our animal spirit guides which will enhance the whole experience of the workshop.

Our retreat will take place in Kurrajong in the Hawkesbury District at the foothills of the Blue Mountains, 75km northwest and 90 min easy drive from Sydney.
We will gather on Thursday afternoon and the retreat will commence on Sunday around lunch time.
Our retreat will be catered again by the incredible Ayse Moonen from Vegan Projects. Those of you who have been with me on retreats when Ayse was cooking, you can certainly recall how amazing her creations are…yum!
I’m really happy to have with us Darinka Maja offering kahuna massage treatments throughout the retreat. (please know that the massages are not included in the price of the retreat).
*Whilst I will be the main facilitator on this retreat, there will be a couple of guest teachers joining us as well. Their names will be announced soon.
The check in on Thursday will start at 3.30pm, and there will be one session and an opening ceremony on that day, followed by dinner.
There will be 3 sessions on Friday and Saturday, and on Sunday we will have a morning practice and a closing ceremony.

We will meet four times, and during the series each session will be specifically themed to create a sense of continuity and maximum understanding of the material covered over the course:

I’m very excited to be collaborating for the first time with Simon Favorito, holistic chef and integrative whole foods coach.
Baran Yildiz will be back again to grace us with the medicine of his instruments like: hang drum, japanese flute, karimba and many more. He will play for us during the weekend, including the live music yin class and sound healing.

We will gather together in the most exquisite venue WillowFarm nestled in the heart of beautiful Berry, about 2 hrs drive from Sydney.
